To make your site live, you need to upload your site files to either the "www" or "public_html" directory. It doesn't matter which of the two directories you choose to upload to, as they both point to the same location. However, if you have any CGI files, they need to be uploaded to either the "/public_html/cgi-bin" or "/www/cgi-bin" directory.
